Wainfleet Magdalen Church of England/Methodist Primary School is thrilled to announce that its Key Stage 2 pupils will be among the first in LAAT schools to receive their very own digital devices as part of the Trust’s ambitious digital strategy.

Three years ago, LAAT set out a bold vision to ensure every child across its 23 schools has access to the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. This initiative enhances learning outcomes, develops digital literacy, and provides equitable access to technology for all students.
 

Partnering with Apple
Pupils at Wainfleet will receive an iPad, a protective cover, and a leaflet outlining safe and responsible use, as well as guidance on support and troubleshooting. The roll-out begins on 10th November, with information events planned for both pupils and parents to ensure everyone is confident and prepared.

Trust-Wide Digital Strategy

Over the next three years, every child in Year 3 and above at all LAAT schools will receive a 1:1 digital device. Additionally, Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils will begin their digital journey with iPads at school, preparing them for future learning.
