At the Wainfleet Magdalen Church of England/Methodist Primary School, music is an important part of school life. Through engaging weekly music lessons, singing, instrumental opportunities and a wide range of performances, we encourage every child to develop a love of music and confidence in performing. Our curriculum, supported by the Lincolnshire Music Service, gives pupils opportunities to learn about composers, play percussion instruments, sing regularly and explore musical creativity.

Beyond the classroom, children can take part in our free school choir, recorder club, school productions, community performances and local music festivals. We believe music brings people together and provides memorable experiences that enrich children's learning, wellbeing and self-expression. 

As we continue to develop our provision, we are expanding opportunities for instrumental tuition, ensemble performance and digital music-making, ensuring all pupils can thrive as musicians and performers.
