School Dinners

At school, children have the option of bringing a packed lunch or choosing from one of two freshly prepared meals from our onsite catering team.  Onsite school dinners must be selected in advance using ParentPary. If you require additional support with this, please contact the school office who will be happy to help.

Our school dinners meet the government's School Food Standards, so that we can support our children to have healthy, balanced diets.

These standards make sure that school lunches always include:

  • one or more portions of fruit and vegetables every day
  • one or more portions of starchy food, such as bread or pasta every day
  • a portion of food containing milk or dairy every day
  • a portion of meat or poultry on 3 or more days each week
  • oily fish once or more every 3 weeks

For children in KS2, meals cost £2.20 per day, unless your child is in receipt of free school meals.

Children in KS1 are provided a daily meal free of charge as part of the government's Universal Infant Free School Meals programme. Whilst all pupils in these year groups will be provided with a free school meal, it is important that, if you think you are eligible to receive a free school meal, you continue to apply to the Lincolnshire Local Authority, as this may provide the school with additional funding.
